GP Phlebotomy Appointment System

The Phlebotomy Departments at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust have finalised arrangements for the introduction of an online appointment system to be used for patient blood tests called SwiftQueue. This Trust-wide service will allow patients to book blood test appointments in advance for the first time and will significantly improve service efficiency, reduce waiting times, and enhance patient experience. Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services (BSPS) has already successfully implemented SwiftQueue across several acute Trusts, delivering positive outcomes.

The new booking system will launch on Monday 3rd March 2025, giving patients the option to book appointments. The first bookable appointments will be on Monday 10th March at East Surrey Hospital and 1st April 2025 at Crawley and Horsham Hospitals.  We would encourage patients to make use of this booking system as soon as possible.  Please note that Walk-in appointments will be accepted until 31st March 2025 at all sites.

Use the online booking website   to make a GP Blood Test appointment in advance.  If you don't have access to online services a family member can make appointments for you online.

Alternatively, anyone unable to book using the online booking system, can call 0300 6134117 between 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday and a member of their team will book an appointment for you.
